I am a South African mom, living in Paris since 2013. I have a PGCE, specialising in Early Education, experience as an educator and have recently worked with children with special needs.  l have furthered my studies in Neurodevelopment, Sensory-Motor Development and researched their influence on learning and behaviour. I have had the wonderful opportunity to teach both in South Africa and Paris and have held numerous teacher training courses too. I have worked with schools and "garderies" in Paris to improve the learning experience for children.

Back in South Africa I worked as part of the founding team for a primary school, on a little farm outside Pretoria, and regularly visit to do teacher training there. Incorporating movement into the everyday routine and teaching methods has boosted the success of learning tremendously.

Recently I have completed my training as a host for the BABY BRAINS course. Which is a fun parent-empowerment course that shares the science behind parenting. BB classes starting soon in Paris.

I have also completed my training as a children's Yoga Instructor and aim to a bring greater mindfulness to the learning experience.

In closing, as a parent to a 4 year old little girl, I watch her growing up as an “urban child,” and like you, I want my child to have a well-rounded, balanced childhood and education. For me this starts with learning through movement FUN experiences and play.

I hope to share my expertise through my different classes.

They say it takes a village to raise a child...let's work together to make a better world for our children.
